Exciton Science: The story so far…

The ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science has reached a significant milestone, conducting a mid-term review with the Australian Research Council.

Originally scheduled to take place in 2020 - the half-way mark of the Centre’s life cycle - the process was unavoidably postponed due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This delay proved particularly frustrating because of how excited the members of Exciton Science were to discuss the world-class research they have undertaken within the Centre, and to provide an insight into the inclusive, diverse and progressive professional and academic environment in which they work.

Through a written submission, immersive digital story, and in group interviews featuring members of the Centre at all levels of experience and seniority, Exciton Science was proud to tell our story so far to the representatives of the ARC.
