Exciton Science Seminar Series
On the 15 November 2018 we kicked off the first of the Exciton Science Seminar Series at the University of Melbourne with a seminar by A/Prof Ned Ekins-Daukes from the University of New South Wales.
Paul Mulvany introducing the plenary presentation, which he described as “cutting edge, challenging and confronting”, and with “enough ideas to start a whole CoE!”
Being spread across five nodes over two cities, Centre members made use of the opportunity provided by being in the same location to hold research platform meetings, and to discuss current and future collaborations.
This is the first seminar in the series, with future seminars to be given monthly rotating between all of our nodes. Beside gaining insights from world leading researchers, we aim for the seminar series to provide an opportunity for scientific discussions between our Chief Investigators, research fellows and students, fostering collaborations between our members.
