Dark Place/Bright Future: The Discussion
How will the next generation of renewable energy help us tackle energy inequality? And how can social justice and renewable energy work hand-in-hand to drive progress?
This insightful discussion will explore the science and practical applications of luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs): colourful, transparent tiles that help to harness sunlight.
The talk will feature two speakers — Associate Professor Wallace Wong from the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science, followed by the designer, Brooke Barker, who installed and arranged the LSCs in the Dark Place/Bright Future exhibition. Both will have an opportunity to share their knowledge and vision for the future, followed by an open Q&A session.
This event will take place in the Wesley Place – Business Hub and runs in conjunction with the Dark Place / Bright Future exhibition, which attendees are encouraged to attend.
