As part of our goal to build globally competitive industries in Australia, The ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science is supporting entrepreneurial researchers to take our technologies which can solve real-world problems out of the research lab and onto the market.
This support comes in two levels depending on the technology and market readiness of the research:
The Prototype Development Fund provides up to $15,000 to a student or post-doctoral researcher to develop a proof-of-principle or prototype for a commercially promising idea.
The Entrepreneurship Funding Scheme provides up to $75,000 as pre-seed or “leverage” type funding to take a proof-of-principle level technology with an identified market or customer and develop a minimum viable product and/or secure larger external seed funds to bring the technology to market.
To apply for these funding opportunities, please contact the Science and Industry Liaison officer.
